Chinese delegation attends the 2013 ICG working group intermediate meetings

(Special correspondent Lu Xiaochun) The International Committee on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (ICG) Compatibility and Interoperability working group (WG-A), Enhancement Performance of Global Navigation Satellite Systems Services working group (WG-B) intermediate meetings were held in Vienna on Austria on June 11 to 13. More than 40 delegates and experts from China, the United States, Russia, the European Union, Italy and Japan attended the meetings. More than 10 delegates and experts sent by China Satellite Navigation Office (CSNO) took part in it.

"Beidou Satellite Navigation Industry International Cooperation and Investment Forum" Held in Nanning, Guangxi

The first Beidou Satellite Navigation Industry International Cooperation and Investment Forum was held in Nanning, Guangxi Wharton International Hotel during the 10th China - ASEAN Expo on Sep.5, 2013. Zhang Xiaoqin, Vice Chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Ran Chengqi, director of China Satellite Navigation Office, Ba Risi, General Counsel of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, Wu Zhuo, vice director of China Space Foundation and Alexander Lin, director assistant of Science and Technology Department of the CAEXPO Secretariat attended the meeting and delivered speeches. The representatives tried to promote BeiDou (COMPASS) Navigation Satellite System (BDS) application in ASEAN members under the theme of “Sensing Beidou, Serving ASEAN”.
